Hi, My name is Hera. I am what they call a Newbie in the Rescue, I have only been here a week. I have settled into my foster home(as they call it) with my foster mom and LOTS of fur siblings. I love having so many dogs to play with and hang out with, big or small I love them all.:) I came from not great situations, I wont go into much detail but my previous owners let me get pregnant have puppies that all died and then dropped me off at the shelter because I wasn't worth enough to them. The nice ladies at the Shelter said I was worth it, and contacted these nice people at BRBR, who then saved me from the horrible fate at the shelter. I was still getting over my puppies at the time and was very depressed to not have them with me and be taken away from the only place I knew. But I soon realized, life gets much better with the right people. I now live indoors, yippee, and my foster mom allows me to get on this thing called a couch that is so
nice and comfortable. I love lounging on it all day, it sooo beats laying on the hot hard ground outside. I am great in the house to, I love the privelage and don't want to ruin my welcome at all. I have never messed in the house all week and mom gives me free roam even while she is away and I must say I did eat a remote control, but that was early on and I did not know where my chew toys were kept. Now I know where our toy box is and all the toys and bones are kept and I will go help myself to a bone or toy when I like. I love all my fur siblings and very much enjoy playing with them, especially outside where we get the opportunity to run like crazy, you will see a big smile on my face when we do. I was very underweight before arriving and love that I am getting my girlish figure back now with all the nice food mom is giving to me. I am very social and prefer someone be with me when I eat as I don't like eating alone, do you? Mom has
been taking me on something called a walk a few times a day, I must say its great exercize but being I was never socialized in my previous home I am a bit nervous of these things called a car I'm told. If they sneak up on me I get spooked, if I see them coming I do much better. Mom has been helping to let me know they are okay and I am getting more comfotable on the walks now. Mom says I am a great walker otherwise as I always walk right next to her, sometimes I don't pay attention and I walk into her or wander a little far out to the side, but I easily get back in line.:) I also live with this little thing called a cat, hmm she is interesting but I don't mind her and do not have any intentions to hurt or chase her, I just like watching her sometimes, she is very prissy though so not sure if we will ever be good friends like I would like. Well that's all for now, It's time for my walk, I must go get my exercize in for now and work more on my
figure:) If you would love for me to come home with you my mom can surely let you know if we are a good fit.......Love Hera ***I am a goddess ya know***
