Arrival Story:
After my mommy and daddy lost their furbaby Mattie to congestive heart failure,Mommy was very lonely and sad.She had told Daddy that when it was time for Mattie to cross the bridge she wanted an akita puppy. A few weeks later they saw an ad in the newspaper for Akita puppies just in time for Valentines day. They called and talked to the breeder,and he had some business in the area at the timeand was nice enough to bring me for the long ride to meet my mommy and daddy. They fell in love with me instantly and brought me home to be part of their family.Mommy said I was the perfect Valentine. I think my mommy was right because they were the perfect Valentine for me.
Bio:
I like to play with other dogs,I'm very well behaved and social,I like kids especially mommy and daddy's grandchildren. I will be welcoming my baby Akita brother home the week before Thanksgiving this year,so I have something extra thankful for.I am already thankful for my wonderful pawrents and my extended pack.
Ilove mommy very much and spend alot of time with her,she's worked very hard to make me a good girl.I'm really more of a Daddy's girl. I'm not sure why,there's just something about Daddy. Hopefully, my little brother Kai will be a mommy's boy.

Mika has learned it is better to have a younger brother than not.She and Kai have their squabbles but he always lets her win.She may be the older sister but no longer the big sister,she's much smaller than Kai now!!!

We just wanted to remind everyone that today is Pearl Harbor Day and to remember all those who have served and our serving our country and thank them for their sacrifice.
We also want to thank all of our Dogster friends who stopped by to leave,bones,comments and gifts for Mika on her birthday yesterday. She had a wonderful day,having lots of outdoor fun,treats and extra love,too. We made her feel extra special but don't tell Kai.
