We went to a shelter to adopt a puppy and the mother had a litter of 15 puppies! I couldn't decide so I knelt down and the first pup who licked me was mine! She was covered in mud and poo and she reminded us of the Color Purple character Miss Celie when she opened the door to a mean drunk Shug--and so thats what we named her.
