Pup-peronies, playing with Molly

don't know yet

Favorite Toy:
purple squeeky dog bone

Favorite Food:

Favorite Walk:
so far, he loves to walk under the Mimosa tree and play with the pink, fuzzy flowers that fall off.

Best Tricks:
In the one week that we've had him, he already knows how to stand "up" on his two hind feet.

Arrival Story:
I wanted a Cairn Terrier. I thought Toto from Wizard of Oz was quite adorable. I read up on Cairns and found what good, intelligent dogs they were. the funny thing is, they are very hard to find around my area. We even looked into adopting one and couldn't even find one close by, so we just scanned the internet and finally found Max. He was in Loretto, Ky (were my grandma was born) so we made the 2 1/2 hour drive down there. Yep...that was the closest Cairn we could find! Layout by CoolChaser

I had a loooong trip to my new home. I did really well, except there was this really excited girl (my new sister). Her name is Molly. She loves to play with me and sometimes even wears me out. I also met this white furry thing. Mom told me it was a cat and her name is Jasmine. She's a little bit snooty, but I WILL make her my friend. Then, there is this great BIG thing. Mom told me he was a cat too, but I think he's bigger than Molly (maybe he's a lion?), but anyway, his name is Otis. He just lays there at stares at me. It sort of intimidates me, but I'm going to make him like me too. He's so big, I definitely think I want him to be on my good side! And, there's this big green thing with a yellow face. They call him Patches and he gets really loud sometimes. I don't know what he's squawking about...he's kind of weird. I can't get very close to him because he's pretty high up on his cage.

Mom and Dad take me outside to go to the potty, but I just don't understand that yet. Why do I have to go outside? My first mom used to clean up after me, and now my new family takes me outside on a leash to go potty. I guess I'll figure it out after a while.

When I go outside there are these other two great BIG dogs out there. One of them comes in at night and she's really nice (her name is Josie), but the other one is hug-mongous! He seems pretty nice (his name is Homer), but he's a little big for me right now, so I don't go out and play with him. We've met nose-to-nose, but that's about it for now.

Mom is teaching me to stand up on my back legs, and she gives me PUPPERONI'S as a treat. OMG...THEY ARE SOOOOO good!!!!! I think I would do anything for one of those!

I have my own house to sleep in, and it is right next to Molly's house. I feel pretty comfortable in there. It's nice and soft and Mom got me a really cool stuffed squeeky toy and a chew toy that I get to keep in my house with me.

Well, I better go for now, I think Mom wants to take me back outside AGAIN!!! (I still don't understand that "going outside to potty" thing, but I guess one day.) SEE YA!
