I love my dogs! Okay, a simple statement but so much behind it. My ex-husband, Rodolfo and I adopted Cookie when we had lost another precious dog, Harry, he was a Cocker Spaniel. We really didn't want to adopt another dog since we had spend quite a bit of money on vet bills due to his stomach problems along with son, Mickey. We wanted to wait a bit before adopting. But our friends convinced us and have been happy beyond belief. Cookie is a needy dog and is always in your face for attention. I remarried and my husband loves her, even though he doesn't say it, I know he does. I renamed Cookie, my girlfriend's daughter who found her in Aurora, IL called her Cocoa, but I renamed her Cookie. And she certainly owns up to her name, she is super sweet. Sorry, but I'm new to this and will create a separate account for Greta, who is Cookie's side-kick. I adopted Greta from the Anti-Cruelty Society when she was 3 months old. More to follow...
