Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall

It was a good summer. I went on vacation with Shiley & my parents and I got a short hair cut. My hair is growing out now for the fall/winter. My Grammy just visited and we had a great time. I woke up at 4:30 in the morning and wanted her to hold me and play with me. BOL! I hope everyone has a great fall season!

New Photos Up

I put up recent photos of me. The main photo at the top made the cover of the Oscar Newman Spring/Summer 2011 catalog. I had a great time posing for pictures.

I even put up some photos of me posing with some bows that my mommy made.

Life is good.

I'm a model!

I'm an official model of Oscar Newman. I'll be in the Spring/Summer 2011 Look Book/website. My parents are so proud of me. I have many to thank - my groomer, my parents, and the lovely gals at Oscar Newman for choosing me. I'm so excited! I'm going to go run around and play in celebration.

A Cat Toy?

A couple of weeks ago, my mommy sent my Grammy's two kitties some treats and catnip mouse toys for Christmas. The minute I saw those mice I wanted to play with them but before I knew it, mommy mailed them out. Even after she did, I kept going to where she hid those presents to make sure they weren't there. Mommy told my Grammy how I really just wanted to play with those toy mice and pretend I was a kitty for a day. Sooo ...


I sniffed out an early Christmas present that came in the mail today for ME!! It was from Grammy - and attached to the top of it was a PINK TOY MOUSE (no catnip, but fleecy and cute). I couldn't wait. I tore the toy off the present and have been playing with him all day. I pretend that I'm a kitty and I flip him in the air and bat him around. I even pounce on him too. He's my new friend and I'm so happy that he's my early Christmas gift.

What I'm Thankful For

Turkey day (aka Thanksgiving) is in just a few days and it makes me think about all that I'm grateful for ...

My parents who rescued me from the puppy mill, my big sister Shiley, soft, warm blankets, my vet (even though I put up a fuss every time I visit her) for taking such good care of me, my friends, my grandparents who love me, my lovely collection of dresses, the backyard where I run fast and play, my safety and freedom, cuddles and kisses, being carried by my mommy, and being my daddy's "little buddy".

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Count your blessings and pay them forward.

Who wants to play?

This warmer weather is so much fun to play in. I've been playing all sorts of games - with my sister Shiley, with my parents, or my myself. I've been playing fetch with the tennis balls, tug of war with my rope, flip the rock (where I toss a pebble in the air and bat it around with my paw), champion runner (where I run as fast as I can doing laps around the yard), and more! Today I wanted someone new to play with me, and he happened to be outside in my yard so I asked him. It was a honeybee. I started playing "tag" with him, when Mommy panicked and got me to go inside. I had to say "so long" to my game with the bee. Too bad. Anyone else up for a game?

It's St. Patty's Day!

Wow! I'm seeing green everywhere. Not sure who this "Patrick" is, but it's a day to celebrate. I'm wearing green and dancing an Irish jig. It's fun! You should join me.

I got a gold coin from the leprechaun's pot of gold so it must be a lucky day for me! Grammy sent it to me and she's Irish so I guess that makes me Irish too. BOL!

Hope homeless pets get lucky in finding their forever homes. Join me in making a wish for them.

Spring Fever

I guess I have Spring Fever. I have all this energy and want to be outside all the time now. I've heard the birdies chirp already which is a definite sign of Spring. I bark "hello" at them. I love running as fast as I can in my yard.

Easter is coming up and Mommy has already ordered new Spring dresses for me and Shiley. My parents will take lots of photos of us - but we're used to that. Our Daddy's a professional photographer. And we're professional models! BOL!

Before we celebrate Easter, we have to celebrate St. Patty's Day first. I'll do an Irish jig and wear green. Mommy says I'm part Irish since my Grammy is Irish. BOL! Happy St. Patty's Day (early) to all my friends. Cheers!!

Pork Chops and Hockey Games?

I watched my first hockey game today on TV. I was in awe. I sat there and didn't make a peep. I just watched. Mom tried changing the channel and one point and I started complaining. She changed it back just for me to enjoy. BOL! Who would've known that I like to watch a bunch of men on ice skates chase around a little thing called a puck with L-shaped sticks? After watching the game, I was ready for a nap. I love to flip over onto my back with my paws in the air. Daddy calls it "The Pork Chop" because I show off my little "hams". BOL! Speaking of "The Pork Chop", Mommy actually made pork chops for supper one night last week and I tried stealing a piece right off her plate. Key word is "tried". Happy early Valentine's Day!

It was a Very Merry Christmas!

It's hard to believe Christmas came and went so fast, buy boy, was it fun! The day started with getting phone calls from our Grandparents. Then we opened up our gifts. I liked to shred the tissue paper to make confetti! BOL! I got toys, clothes and treats. It was fun!

Mommy said that it's also good to give back so we got together a box of new and gently used items to send out to the National Mill Dog Rescue as a donation. We gave away Shiley's older leashes and collars, brand new bags of treats, towels, toys, bandanas, and even a few hoodies to keep these homeless doggies warm.

I hope 2010 will be a great year filled with adventures and excitement.
