Birthday: March 20th 2009 Likes: Lily absolutely loves to swim. She also loves to go to the dog park, play tug, play with the kitties, and eat! She also really likes to chew on bully sticks and pig ears, etc. Pet-Peeves: The Pedi-Paws nail grinder, the bacterial infections she periodically gets, and when we have to give her her medicine. Favorite Toy: Her furry Walk-E-Woo tug, her Bad Cuz, Wubbas, felted wool tug, and balls! Also, her kitty cat, E-Man. Favorite Food: She is fed a prey model raw diet. She likes everything she's tried so far! Favorite Walk: Lily loves to go on walks anywhere and everywhere! Our favorite walk is probably in the neighborhood behind our apartment complex by the lake. Best Tricks: Lily has mastered sit and down. Her newest trick is "Are you shy?" where she paws at her face. She is also learning to "be a lady" and cross her paws. Eventually, she may be trained to do competitive obedience and/or Rally. Arrival Story: On June 8 around 9:00 p.m. my fiance heard a dog screaming outside. It was Lily, she was being attacked by a cat and was very afraid. He found a dirty old towel near where he found her so we think she was dumped by her owner. She was filthy and covered in fleas (and scabs from the fleas). He cleaned her up and cuddled with her until I got home. Originally we had planned on finding her a new home or contacting a rescue but she wrapped her little paws around our hearts so we are going to keep her. Bio: Lily is a very spunky little German Shepherd mix puppy. She loves to play with the cats and play tug with us. She also loves to go to the dog park and go on walks. One of her favorite hobbies is swimming. She doesn't care if the water is muddy, salty, dirty, or clean...she loves it all. She does not discriminate. We did a DNA breed analysis on her and the results were: German Shepherd Dog (37-74%), German Shorthaired Pointer (20-36%), Dalmation (10-19%), Keeshond (10-19%). She's a Keeshepointermation!
