It's my Birthday!

It's my birthday today & I'm 4 years old. I'm getting OLD, aren't I?

I got a cute hedgehog that squeaks & some treats for my bday. Mama told me that the hedgehog belongs to me & no one else so if I want to take it under the bed I can. I think she said that because Remy wanted my present. I love Remy so I think I'll share with him if he still wants to play with it.

Mama's B-day

It was my mama's 26th birthday yesterday. Nanny baked her a cake & they took it to a kennel club meeting to share with everybody.

Gabby went with Mama & Nanny shopping today & picked out a late birthday present for Mama from all of us doggies. We gave her a cow holding a gift that lights up to put outside in the yard this Christmas.

Mama really loves to go all out decorating for Christmas both inside & outside. She already has a little dog that lights up that she got last year. She says she wants to get every type of animal that she can find. The next one she wants is a little pink pig that she saw today.

We love helping Mama decorate & wrap presents, especially me. I can't wait for Christmas. I know that when Mama starts buying new decorations or gets one for her birthday that it's not far off.

Surprise, Surprise!

Guess what? I found out what our surprise is. My new little sister, Emma. She's so cool & sweet. I really love her, but, then, I love everybody.

Anyways, I'm so happy that Emma joined our family : )

I can't wait!

Mama & Daddy told us (me, my bubbas, & Gabby) that we may be getting a surprise, soon. They won't tell us what it is. Mama & Daddy are both excited about it. I'll tell ya'll what it is when I know for sure.

Hunter's Fixed!

Daddy neutered Hunter last Thursday. Mama had been after him for a while to do it & he finally did. Daddy & Mama tried not to let Hunter know what was going to happen, but he must have figured it out somehow. He tried to bite Daddy when they went into the OR. Hunter spent almost all day with Daddy at the clinic & Daddy said that he was ill the whole time (Hunter is the grumpy one out of all of us). When Hunter got home he was sooooo happy to see Mama even though he didn't feel good. We all had to check him out; he didn't want us to, though. Hunter feels much better, now, but I don't. He told me that he overheard Daddy say that Mama wants me to be next. GULP

DO YOU LIVE IN THE COUNTRY/CITY: In the country w/ a pool (that I love swimming in) & a pond that I jumped into once. Mama told me not to do that again because there are catfish in there that could swallow me whole.
HOW MANY ANIMALS DO YOU HAVE: There's me, Gabby, Hunter, Remy, 2 outside dogs Sam (bluetick) & Winchester (yellow lab). Plus occassional rescues & dropoffs like Banjo (beagle/bulldog mix), he's the only 1 right now. Plus, many, many cats, a rabbit named Odelle, 6 guineas, 1 goose named Liza, 4 ducks, 3 chickens, & 3 goldfish. Plus my Poppy has Mama's horse named Dolly. We had a ferret named Jake Plummer, but he died of old age 2 months ago. Great Grandaddy always called him our mongoose.
