We won again!

Auburn 41 West Virginia 30.

That was a good game. Mama said it was a nail biter. I thought for sure we were gonna lose, but we didn't.

As everybody can probably tell, me & Mama are the football fans of our family. Mama was in the marching band in high school (she played flute & piccolo); she had to go to all of the football games. She didn't become an Auburn football fan until she & daddy started dating. Then, she decided that since that was his alma mater she'd better be an Auburn fan. Daddy's not that big into football & never has been. He was always into FFA & 4-H when he was younger. But he says that Mama's made him learn how to appreciate a good game, though.

Since I'm a big Mama's boy, I like whatever my mama likes. So, that's why I'm a football fanatic, too.

I'm 3!

It's my birthday today, & boy have I had a good day. I played with my favorite birthday present, a big orange monkey that squeaks (I'll try to get Mama to post a picture of me & my monkey soon), & I had some chewies. And Mama let me have some yogurt. Yum! I love yogurt.

Plus I've had a lot of doggies & kitties on here wishing me happy birthday. You've all made my day really special. Thank you so much.

Oh, & my Poppy called & wished me a happy birthday, too. I sure do love my Poppy. The only bummer has been that my Nanny & Daddy are both sick with the flu. But they both went to the doctor today & got a shot (glad it was them & not me), so they should be feeling better soon.

I had the biggest shock yesterday. I came in from the backyard & there was a new doggy in the house. Mama told me she was my new little sister, Emma.

Emma's a very pretty girl & I like her, but I hope she doesn't expect me to share my chewies with her.

The Joy of Freedom!

Me & Remy didn't go out in the backyard today like we usually do because he kept digging holes & getting out. Well, this afternoon, our buddy Banjo came to the front door (the wooden door was open). We wanted to go play with him so bad. So, Remy waited until Mama wasn't looking. He jumped up, put his paw on the latch, & opened the storm door. We were out of the house like lightning. We ran everywhere, even down to the pond. We chased the guineas & the cats. I could hear Mama calling us & telling us to "Come." We didn't do it, though. We were having too much fun. Our wild spree eventually came to an end when we both stopped to point at some kittens that were under the steps. We both love kittens (especially Remy). Mama grabbed both of us & put us on our leashes. I thought we would get in trouble for sure, but we didn't. She told us that it was dangerous for us to do what we did (part of our land is fronted by a pretty busy highway) & that she was grateful for the kittens making us stop. It was fun while it lasted, though.

FAVORITE HOBBY: Catfishing. I love to swim out in the water & eat the fish food, & I love it when someone catches a big, huge catfish. I try to tote them off.
PERSON THAT YOU MISS MOST: Great-Grandaddy. He died in Sept 2008. He always said I was a good boy.

WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY THIS YEAR? Another little brother. . . No, just kidding. A big HUGE squeaky toy that I saw at Jeffer's & a big HUGE bag of chewies just for me & I don't have to share them.

DO YOU LIVE IN THE COUNTRY/CITY: In the country with a pond & a pool.
HOW MANY ANIMALS DO YOU HAVE: There's me, Phil, Remy, Gabby, 2 outside dogs Sam (bluetick) & Winchester (yellow lab). Plus occassional rescues & dropoffs like Banjo (beagle/bulldog mix), he's the only 1 right now. Plus, many, many cats, a rabbit named Odelle, 6 guineas, 1 goose named Liza, 4 ducks, 3 chickens, & 3 goldfish. Plus my Poppy has Mama's horse named Dolly. I had a ferret named Jake Plummer, but he died of old age 2 months ago. Great Grandaddy always called him our mongoose.
