I was five years old on Monday. My mom bought me some vanalla
ice cream to celebrate the big occasion.
I have 2 cat brothers, a cat sister, and a bird brother.
I still sleep with my mom, I do it just for her, I am a big girl and
would rather sleep on the floor.
My mom lets ne stand on the counsel of her car and put my head out
the window. I love driving around and smelling the air.
Ahhh life is good when everyone tells you how beautiful you are.
My mom makes me get groomed once a month. I tired getting out of
grooming but it didn't work. As soon as my mom had me through the
door of the groomers I would lay on my back with my legs up in the
air. The only thing that happened was they all laughed at me.
I still love my walks, and I love to go bye bye and takes rides in the
car. Time sure passes quickly I can't believe I am five. Happy
Birthday to me.

I am really growing up.I will be 5 years old in July. I have calmed down and my mother thinks that I am really well behaved. I lost my brother Billie.Billie was 20 years old. My mom found 2 more stray cats. I am one of 5 children. One dog, 3 cats, and a bird.
My mom has a friend' that has 2 German Sheppard's. I spend a lot of time with Liberty and Cody. I had a talk with Liberty and Cody. I told them since mom gives us a treat every time we go out, you guessed it, let's go out a lot.
I can't wait till Spring my mom will walk me at least once a day. I go to the walking trails and I can sniff all kinds of neat smells.
My mom takes me to Indianapolis a lot to visit my human sister Gretchen. Gretchen has 4 cats that I am friends with. My mom stops half way down and buys me lunch. She keeps a huge glass of water in the counsel in case I get thirsty. She finds me a place to go potty. I usually take a nap the rest of the way there. In the nice weather my mom and human sister take me for walks.
I am really happy and I plan on loving everyone in the year 2009. Licks and Hugs, Mimi'

Hi Doggie Friends,
My mom dyed me pink for Easter. I was in the newspaper on Saturday April 7th, 2007. The Post Tribune did 3 really large color photos of me. I had almost a full page. My pink head was on the front of the paper that said pink dog see A-3. Here is a copy of the article. My mom will work at putting the photos in here. Love to all and some giant pink doggie kisses. Tale of tints

SCHERERVILLE
Whenever youngsters plead with their parents to let them dye their hair an outlandish color, the pleas are usually met with trepidation at best.
Mimi Christenson, on the other hand, didn't even have to ask; her human mom, Lauren Christenson of Schererville encouraged it.
She even drove Mimi to the salon Friday morning to have her done up in a pleasant, cotton-candy pink for Easter.
Of course, Mimi's a poodle, so dying her pink is more novelty than a statement on her upbringing.
Nevertheless, making Mimi pink is something Lauren Christenson has wanted to do forever.
"When I was little, my mom bought us colored chicks once, and I thought it was the cutest thing," Christenson said.
"And Mimi's quite the character, so I knew she'd love the attention. And it makes me happy, too."
It was also a little bit of rebellion on Lauren's part.
Barb Kragness, owner of Barb's Classic K-9 Cuts in Schererville, was in charge of the coiffing.
It started with a bath to get Mimi squeaky clean
then a rubdown with the dye of choice for moody teenagers everywhere: Manic Panic.
"Manic Panic is safe for humans and dogs, and of course we're not going to use a stripping agent on her," Kragness said. "We left it in for 15 minutes because we wanted it pastel.
"Then we rinsed it out and blow dried her."
A standard poodle cut, purple bows and a pink
ruffled collar would round out Mimi's ensemble after she was done under the dryer.
The dye job left Mimi with more of a pink highlighted effect than an all-over Easter egg one, but that was OK with Kragness.
"In my 20 years of business, I've never dyed an animal," she said, laughing. "I kept thinking, 'God, I hope this works.' "
Lauren Christenson was pleased with the results.
"I wish I had a pink car
to cart her around in," she said.
