Anything his sick brother, Otto, is getting.

Getting better on leash, and loves to go to the dog park where he gallops around and sniffs everyone's crotch.
Best Tricks:
The only command he knows so far is sit, but he loves to sleep on his back and kick his legs like a goofball.
Arrival Story:
We fostered Gandalf for the NEWF-FLA, fell in love with him, and adopted him.
Bio:
Gandalf was surrendered by his owner on the East coast of Florida. She was a backyard/puppymill type breeder. The Newfs were kept in the garage. Gandalf used to escape, and was beaten by a neighbor down the street. He has many anxiety issues that we are working through.
He is a lover boy and a little on the goofy side. We just can't get enough of this big guy!
In March 2010, Gandalf was diagnosed with bone cancer that had spread to his chest. We managed him with pain meds until he let us know he was in too much pain. He passed peacefully on May 29, 2010. He was only with us a year, but managed to overcome all of his fears and cram as much joy into life as he could.
