I've been tagged!

My good Pal, Saphira, tagged me for her game! You answer the questions and then tag SIX friends to play, too! Sending them a nice rosette is a nice touch!

Here are MY answers:

1. What color is your collar?
Red

2. What kind of food do you eat?
I get Nature's Variety Instinct dry dog food. I also get a bit of Merrick canned mixed in....but lately mom has been cooking for us and instead of the Merrick we get chicken, brown rice and carrots mixed in. YUMMO!

3. What are your favorite treats?
I'd do almost anything for beefy or chicken jerky!!

4. Do you have a Valentine or significant other?
Nope! Althought I am Daddy's Valentine - mom got me for him on 2/15 :)

5. Do you get table scraps?
No, not really. I will occassionally get a piece of meat if there's no spices on it, or pizza crust.

6. What is your favorite toy?
Um, squeekies of course! I *had* a Wubba that made the most awesomest squeeks, but sadly I had to kill it :) Oh and I have this big ball outside with a handle on it that I like too.

7. When is your birthday?
I was adopted from a rescue group and they didn't know my birthdate. They estimated it to be March 2007. My gotcha date is 2/15/08.

8. How many times a day do you eat?
Twice, breakfast & dinner

9. Do you have a favorite color?
Hmm, I'd say GREEN cause everything good is green - grass, tennis balls, etc.

10. Do you hope all your pals put this in their diary?
Of course! I LOVE to learn about my Pals!

1. I am always happy.
2. Love to lay on the first step of our pool to cool off :)
3. I give "flat tires" in the morning. Flat tires are when I follow behind my mom or dad so close that I end up stepping on their slippers. They don't care for this :(
4. I look kind of intimidating but I am just a big kissy boy.
5. Don't like to be outside by myself.
6. Lily is my BF. When I first came to my furever home we sniffed each other and then started running & playing in the yard!
7. Mom doesn't like my kisses. She says they are to rough and it feels like I'm trying to lick her skin off ;0

Lily got us skunked!

This morning our dad got up to get ready for work at 4:30 and let us out to take care of our business. Wouldn't you know there was a rotten ol' skunk in the yard. Lily went chasing after it - I tried to tell her it wasn't a squirrel!! But what's a brother to do? I had to follow her & back her up.

Lily got a direct hit to the chest. Her white fur was all yellow. I got a little in the face too, but not as bad as her. Blech, she smelled so bad I had to puke twice! I'm just glad it didn't get in my eyes.

Dad was all frantic and had to wake up mom. We were so happy that she had a magic skunk odor-remover recipe. If anydog needs the recipe, just ask mom. It really worked!!! She sponged us down while dad held on to Lily. She kept try to escape. What a dummy - didn't she know it was helping? I stayed still like a good boy.

Then we thought we were done. But no, mom had a warm bath for us in the house.

Now we're all fluffy & sweet smelling again. But we're all dog tired! Poor dad had to go in to work. The rest of us will be taking a nap!!!
