Arrival Story:
After the loss of my Mastiff, I was convinced I would rescue another just like him. No puppies! And certainly no females (I'm partial to male dog personalities...sorry!)..Memorial Day Weekend camping up North with the "Motley Crew".Best friend suckered me into going to the local shelter. I passed the first two cause they were puppies.. Nothing against puppies- I just figured they always get adopted, so I was opting for an adult...As I was comming back around, I see this little black thing, with the coolest brindle color where the Rottie tan is.... and it says "male, 4months,stray"....
I couldnt resist.. we let "him" out and it was all over..... except one thing..... I went to give a good belly rub and noticed "Ah HA!...???????" This is NOT a male! hahaha... SHE happily came home with us that following day. Now SHE is a spoiled city dog and lovin every minute of it. As are we :)

I dont really know what she's mixed with. Some say Pit- but I think her ears are really too big.(or maybe her head isnt big enough?).Her tail has long hair like a lab and her bark is allllll sassy pants- but I dont know what rott tails look like when theyre not docked.Who knows! She's pretty much, pretty great either way!

Now who am I gonna play with during the day? The human kid starts school tomorrow and I'll have to go in my "house".. That's what my mom calls it... but it's more like a big cushy den, with a door that locks. I guess it's not so bad. I get to lounge and hang out with my stuffed baby until they come home from work, but I'll sure miss my play time with the human boy and chasing Dodger around. I've gotten pretty good at poking him and running away when he gets cranky (and he's cranky a lot!)... I think this also means I'll be getting longer walks at night too since I will be lounging all day. I looooove walks. Mom says I have to go to school soon too. I already know "sit" and "Shake" and "lay down" and "come" (sometimes).... but I have no idea what "Stay" means, and I still get confused when she says "Out"... When me and Clyde are in the kitchen. I think she means "outside"... but she really means "Out" of the kitchen!! Well, then I guess me and my human boy will have something to talk about at the end of the day since we will both be learning stuff... Maybe it wont be so bad.. Now where did mom hide her new shoes?
