Arrival Story:
Unfortunately we found out that MoJo had some sort of liver disease mid-August of this year and have been managing it with medications, supplements, and a specialized altered diet. MoJo was doing pretty well on his new routine and care for quite awhile. The last few weeks he had not been doing quite as well, but since his symptoms and side effects of the liver disease tend to come and go depending on his food intake, etc. I was not totally alarmed by it. Despite all of the special vet appts., medical care, and homemade food and TLC, MoJo could not keep up his battle against his failing liver. Unfortunately he left his loving home to move onto a pain free, healthy, and neverending youthful life at the Rainbow Bridge. MoJo passed away on Thursday morning, November 24th, 2005. ================================ I met MoJo's breeder at a dog show in June when his dam, CoCo, was just pregnant. Long story short we started corresponding and I somehow ended up becoming MoJo's human Mom, although I wasn't necessarily looking for a puppy at the time.

I had called a couple of his vets to ask some questions and make another check-up appt. to check on his blood liver panels for Monday (the earliest we could get in without an emergency appt.).

Despite all of the special vet appts., medical care, and homemade food and endless TLC, MoJo could not keep up his battle against his failing liver. Unfortunately he left his loving home and ailing body to move onto a pain free, healthy, and neverending youthful life at the Rainbow Bridge. MoJo passed away on Thursday morning, November 24th, 2005.

My heart is broken, but I would not trade my life with MoJo for anything and having shared in the joy of his exhuberant, smart, silly, and fun personality, I believe I am a better person for it.
