Arrival Story:
Toby was a rescue dog. We went to the shelter to look for a dog after our loss of Sam our Black Lab. Toby, renamed, was sitting in a kennel and was so cute looking at us we had to have him. He like to run away and that is why he was in the shelter because his owners could not keep him in their yard. They had an electric collar on him but he just bolted thru it. We have a hugh back yard all fenced in and it gives him room to run and boy does he run! He leaps like a deer and loves to play with Lizzie, his new sister. Toby does occasionally get out the door and wants to run, but we stopped chasing him and now he comes to the door and he gets lots of praise and hugs. What love does to make a animals never want to leave. We love him so much and I think he really likes it here to stay forever.
