My First Beach trip

Dada and his friend planned a trip to the beach for Ingy and me , well actually it was mostly for me. But dont tell Ingy that. Dada's friend has a truck where they could keep my kennel and ofcourse me in it.

It was 4:45 am, dada's racket woke me up. I was surprised to see him up that early. Only then I knew that we were heading out. Shortly we were heading out with in the truck with me in the back and mom, dada and little Ingy in the cabin.

It was my first ride in the truck and of course I was barking a lot initially, but it was only to let dada know that I was alright (actually I was very scared... But we can't let him know that)bol!

After some time though all was fine and I actually started enjoying the ride, even if it was a little warm. We finally got to the beach and wow! it was awesome. I have never seen so much water in one place. I hope mom does not have to clean it all up,I know she will be very upset if she has to(she goes nuts when Ingy and I spill water from our water bowl).

Mom and Ingy settled down under some shade and I charged into the water with dada. Wow... what a rush. I then realise that mom and Ingy were not coming in so I charged right out. I ran to them and of course shook off all the water and sand off me infront of them, I think mom was not very happy about that, Ingy couldnt care less.

Since they were not going in the water, I decided I shall not either. So, I parked myself next to them and watched dada and his friend. Dada finally came out and we played for awhile on the sand. It was fun and Ingy joined us too(he sneaked out of mama's hands actually).

Ingy managed to get some sand in his eyes he is so clumsy mom was terrifed. Dada decided it was finally time to head back home as he had to be at work soon. So we all got back in the truck and got back home.

I was so happy to be back that I almost jumped off the truck when dada opened the kennel. That wouldnt have been good as I would have surely hurt myself.

Dada and I hit the showers and he finally left for work while I hit the bed for a well earned snooze.Mom will be posting our piccies soon!

P.S
This coming Sept. 15 (Tuesday) I have an appointment with my Dogter and for an Xray.Last time Dogter had prescribed glucosamine (mobiflex).Dada was checking the internet about Flexicose have any of you heard about this supplement?
Will pray that it's not Hip Dysplasia and all will be fine.

Doctor's appointment

We just got back from the vet's clinic for my check up.Ingy came with us and we met ( Aimee ) my fur Angel Lassie's friend they became friends at the boarding kennel while mom and dada went for vacation last year.

She is soo pretty girl.We didn't get a chance to sniff each other as I was on the doctor's table for my check up and then when we are done they had already left I guess.

Mom kinda sad because my fur sis Lassie wasn't there to sniff sniff with Aimee but at the same time Happy to see Aimee again.

Well,my dogter didn't advice me to have xray this time ( at least a year old) instead my doctor had given me anti inflammatory medicine (Norocarp) for a week and a mobility supplement (Mobiflex) She told us that will have to see for the next couple of weeks and will be back for another check up and xray if I need it.

I need to watch my diet as I weight 83 lbs at 7 months ok, that doesn't sound good cause I love to eat and I even eat Ingy's food bol!

Mom was checking on my medicine then she read the expiry date was September 2006 OMD! she immediately call the clinic and informed them about the medicine and they said oh, you can come and get a new one it doesn't matter anyway it's not Harmful!!! WHAT?

Mom is soo upset right now she said who wants to buy a expired medicine or anything expired!!!

Say a little prayer for me

Tomorrow is my doctor's appointment to have my legs check and maybe we have to do xray.I have been off my feet as much as I can, I cry after laying down for a while then getting up, and has trouble getting up from a laying position. loved getting ready for a walk, but I don't want to go far .

We really pray that it's not HD at all as most of the images and symtoms we read about describe Displaysia. I'll keep my paws crossed.mom and Dada are really worried as this week I have been limping too much.
