New sister!

OMG! They done went and did it! I got 2, 2 new sisters! (taps paw franticly) Here's the thing, they are not DOGS! They are kittens. Two little adorable white and gray furry kittens! huh! I'm not sure if I like them or not. They just came home Saturday. They are 7 weeks old. I just want to play with them and see what they are like but mommy and daddy get on to me when I run toward them. Mommy said they will hurt me if I am rough, so apparently I have to be careful. They hiss and swipe their little paws at me right now, I guess we will get use to each other, eventually. Oh yeah! Their names are Gypsy and Sassy.

Sorry! Its been awhile!

Yeah! I know! I haven't been on in a long time. Mommy has been hogging the computer because of her college classes. I'm proud of her though, she's been on the deans list 3 times and the presidents list 1 time. So I deal with it, she's trying to make a better life for us. I am, by the way, still the only furry child. (Thank goodness) I could not deal with sharing attention. I did have a brother that was a cat but he passed away last year, he was really sick. I do miss him sometimes, he was kind of mean to me. Mommy said I have to go to the doctor at the end of the month, I have to get caught up on my shots and get my teeth cleaned again. Oh yeah! We moved! We are renting a house from one of mommy's, I guess he would be considered a friend/coworker. He is a local bondsman for the county we live in, a mommy is not as stress because he is not aggrevating and lets us paint the house how ever we want. He is talking about selling it to us. The only problem is that the back yard is not fenced in so I have to go outside on a leash that is staked in the yard. Mommy got the longest one she could find so I can actually run from one end of the yard to the other. She said hopefully we can build a fence by the summer time. Well mommy is ready for bed, she has to take the car to the shop in the morning for maintainence, so ta-ta for now!!!!

WHAT!

Mommy said she might be getting me a new sister called a schwieny. I don't know about that. That would mean I would not be the baby any more. It would be fun to have someone to play with. I don't know we would have to see how this will work out. She says she will not be ready for another 4 to 5 weeks at least. I don't know her name yet but I already feel jealous.

summer drain

It's so hot! I'm ready for the fall. Mommy took me to the creek with her a couple of times and I could not stand it. The water in the creek was nasty tasting. It was just too hot for me out there. It will feel so much better in the fall, a little cooler. I can play in the leaves, that will be fun.

The weekend

So everyday this week me and mommy went for a walk, except Wednesday because she had errands to run. She said we might take a break this weekend. I say no. What does everyone think? I enjoy this time with her and we need the exercise to stay healthy. She said we will probably go down to the creek again and try to fish. We did not catch anything last weekend but it gets us out of the house for a little bit. We had fun last time and I met a couple of new friends, maybe they will be there again.

First walk!

Me, mommy and my sisters went walking this morning. And boy was it hot. I drank all the water from my bowl when we got in. I never realize how pretty the town is. Riding in a car does it no justice at all. We walked through the down town area where there is lots of cute little shops that mommy said is too expensive. Nothing devoted to dogs though, I guess humans around here do not find their pets as precious as my mommy finds me. To get any clothes I have to go to Wal-mart or Pet-Smart. Mommy says we are going to take this walk everyday or at least every other day.

Outing with mom and the kids!

Since mommy did not take me to the beach with her yesterday she took me fishing with her and the girls today. We did not catch anything, what a bummer I was wanting to try and play with a fish. That's ok though I got to me two dogs. One was full grown and way bigger than me but was very nice. He came to the car while mommy was getting everything out. The other was a puppy that looked like the big dog. I guess they were related. Myranda walked me around the creek while mommy and Megan did the fishing. I think she was looking forward to catching some catfish but nothing was biting. Maybe next time. Mommy said we are going to start going for a daily walk starting tomorrow. I guess that will be fun we haven't walked in a while and mommy is not to happy with her weight gain so its time to lose. She is eating very healthy so she said the exercise will help even more. She is setting up all her weights now. She said she rather have a tread mill inside the house where its cooler. Maybe one day.

Back home!

I am home from the vet now. Mommy dropped me off yesterday morning for my teeth cleaning. I got to spend the night there with the other dogs since she had to go to work. Everyone has took turn loving on me telling me how much better my breath is. I'm going to eat now, I'm very hungry.

Up coming vet appointment.

Who said you can't teach an old dog new trick? Ha ha! This should prove old dog can learn new things. I'm going to try to post as much as possible. Mommy is always so busy with work and school, she's a computer hog. Maybe if I give her the cute face she will let me on.
I get to go to the vet Wednesday. I'm going to have my teeth cleaned, she can not take the bad smell anymore. Even for that she still loves me :)
I am kind of nervous, I've never had anything more then a shot when I go. They have to put me to sleep. Mommy said I get to spend the night with the rest of the dogs since she has to work that night. I sure will miss sleeping with my sisters.
I guess I will get off now. I let everyone know how the teeth cleaning goes and if my breath smells better.
