I was given to my mommy by a co-worker. She had always wanted a dachshund breed that she settled for mixed. She is unsure of my actually birthdate but this is the date that she gave me. I have been with them for 7 years now. My first nickname was given to by my soon to 8 year old human sister. My second nickname was given to me by my daddy because he accidently ran me over with the car several years ago because I was chasing a chicken and did not see him.I am a good dog. I love to go for walks and rides in the car. I love to take turns sleep with my 9 and 7 year old human sisters. I have only bit at my them once and that was because I was not feeling good. But it has never happened again. I love my mommy.

Mommy said she might be getting me a new sister called a schwieny. I don't know about that. That would mean I would not be the baby any more. It would be fun to have someone to play with. I don't know we would have to see how this will work out. She says she will not be ready for another 4 to 5 weeks at least. I don't know her name yet but I already feel jealous.

It's so hot! I'm ready for the fall. Mommy took me to the creek with her a couple of times and I could not stand it. The water in the creek was nasty tasting. It was just too hot for me out there. It will feel so much better in the fall, a little cooler. I can play in the leaves, that will be fun.

So everyday this week me and mommy went for a walk, except Wednesday because she had errands to run. She said we might take a break this weekend. I say no. What does everyone think? I enjoy this time with her and we need the exercise to stay healthy. She said we will probably go down to the creek again and try to fish. We did not catch anything last weekend but it gets us out of the house for a little bit. We had fun last time and I met a couple of new friends, maybe they will be there again.
