Arrival Story:
We were not looking to adopt another puppy at this time. Then I got an email about some dogs that needed rescuing. We fell in love with this little boxer girl and almost got her but decided that we didn't want a two girl household. That prompted me to look on Craig s List just to see what was out there. That is when I found a couple who was looking to place the last male out of six puppies. The owned the mom (Boxer) and the dad (AmStaff). They were not very responsible owners by not having either one fixed. Well, when the mom fell in to heat they did not do a very good job keeping the dad away. Anyway, we went out to just look at the last puppy they had available and we knew we had to take him home. We could not bear the thought of leaving him at that place. It was hot and dirty, they were not allowed inside but kept in a really trashy back yard. We had to get him out of that place. Plus once we held him and looked in to his eyes we knew he was ours. We brought him home, took him to the vet, got a clean bill of heath and the rest is history.
