Arrival Story:
After adopting Sumera I wanted him to have a friend to play with and decided on a red and tan female. When we went to pick her up she was the sweetest, smallest little thing. We had been debating on names and after that first look we agreed on Amaya, which means night rain in Japanese and princess in Swahili.
Bio:
Amaya is the opposite of Sumera! She loves people and always wants to be the center of attention. But most of all she is a princess and conducts herself accordingly. Now if we can only get her to listen! Amaya is now almost 3 years old and still acts like a puppy!

My mommy decided that since I love to swim and play in water that my brother and I could come along for vacation this year to the beach. We had to drive to a beach that allowed dogs and boy was I excited. As soon as we got there I headed for the water. Unfortunatly, I didn't see the big wave coming and I got slammed by a wall of water. After that I was a little more hesitant to go to far into the water. But I had a great time running around in the sand, chasing my brother and greeting all the people. I can't wait to go back next year!
