My people! Playing ball. Tackling the other dogs and people when we're playing!

Strangers on the premises. They must be watched at all times & must be introduced or held!

Favorite Toy:
Love all kinds of things even things I'm not supposed to have! Balls, tennis balls, super balls, stuffed toys that belong to the kids (got in bad trouble too!),

Favorite Food:
Blue Buffalo dry food that wilderness formula, raw meat of any kind, rabbits (why can't I have them exactly if I can catch one real fast?), cookout hamburgers & hot dogs. I eat like a small horse!

Favorite Walk:
Woods anywhere! Don't like the road if it's for pleasure cause I'm on duty. Anywhere there's water & I can play!

Best Tricks:
Herding. Rounding up the kids. Sniffing out strangers. Finding lost items and lost cats and lost dogs. Hide & Seek. Play dead. Many others.

Arrival Story:
They needed a guard dog. I was too expensive but they lowered the price as long as they signed not to have me fixed -- don't scream! I'm a very special purebred puppy, the old style big and tall German Shepherd and I have one heck of a smeller on me, nose that is plus I'm a trained guard dog / security dog. I will have puppies and my previous masters have some say to where those puppies go plus they get the pick of the litter. What can I say? I'm old blood down an old family line of dogs. Caused bad accusations at my family & no, we're not Nazi like in any way just that I'm dog aristocracy as far as my breeders and others are concerned & I'm not a snob either. Friends helped Daddy buy me in exchange for promises of future puppies to be trained as guard dogs.

Not that they didn't value the other dogs cause they did and they're rescues saved from the pound by rescue groups in some cases, but when all of the hullabaloo started and the other dogs started getting killed & stolen & running away and the family was breaking apart, they sheltered me with some friends. No, the friends aren't keeping me. They're keeping a female dog another GSD and that story some other time and she is most valuable too... I don't prize myself above the other dogs. I see them as mine to protect just like the people though I am a harsh task master and expect them to protect the people too! Love my family. I'm very loyal and protective and that's why they got me, but I'm also part of the family and can play at times, but I'm always on the look out for problems....

Way Behind! Dogster Junction Roaring Twenties Party!

Way, way behind on my journal, haven't much gotten to visit groups either but that's the way it is, the way of the world for us dogs with jobs & our people who want nothing more than to come home and prop up their feet & have a nice dinner or a good cup of coffee or a cold beer & unwind & relax & take it easy after a long hard day of work sometimes with overtime. Enjoy working & it does work of an appetite for me, but I do help pay for my food so I enjoy the food that I've earned! At least me & August Max did get to make a little time to go to the Dogster Junction costume party although both of us ended up having to work for the Australian Cruise on C&D cruise lines. We were going to bark for August Max and take that tour through Australia & then wouldn't you know it, last minute we got a job or foster Dad & I did! Got called in so he grabbed me & the other dogs that live with us and off we went to work to guard something, do guard dog duty at a party so attended a different party in a way!

Just loved that Dogster Junction costume party because I got to go in as a gangster & hopefully revealed myself as a fed before the party was over! Great big raid going on so that was everyfur's cue to run off to bed or to start saying good night! Then, of course, we had to run out to work too & go ahead & leave but we had such a great time playing undercover G Men & throwing meatballs & bacon sausage meatballs (? think that's what they were?) at other dogs' mouths & if only in real life someone would throw meat balls for us to catch! Wouldn't that be a real doggy treat? If only we had food like that in real life too the steak & lobster tail & prime rib, I would just be in doggy heaven! Ever thought of having a great doggy party foster Dad or my original family? Just a thought!

I Am IronMan!

Keep thinking of that is it Black Sabbath song about Iron Man and the one about Godzilla and all I can hear is I Am IronMan and can't remember the rest of the lyrics but it's in that voice full of heavy metal and iron. Have to listen to that to get that one sentence out of my head. No, August Max, I'm a much more handsome devil than you are today and will be tonight too! Will make the party at least for a short time for Robin Hood's birthday at Dogster Junction. Same here on leaving early possibly and maybe arriving late, but will make every effort to show especially since I FINALLY have another picture! Oh Augie you are just so arrogant and such a show off as usual on your Daily Diary Pick status! Typical Augie but you're loads of fun too you sarcastic critter dog! That is, however, a great costume for you! Now a few real lanterns shining all around you and you will never get lost again once you return home!

Yeah there was just zero chance of that with the crazy hours we've been working where we are! Didn't even see the email from you guys until it was almost too late and just drop dead tired with foster Dad in need of a good bath soak in the tub and then a shower -- feel like we've been working in a coal mine cause this last assignment is dirty just dirt in the air it seems and underfoot. I was dog tired too all puns intended and just about to drop and needed to catch up on my zzzz's so couldn't make it and sorry that we didn't get in touch and notice you didn't promise our presence and thanks for that & yeah you could have spoken for me but so glad that you didn't. We will have to start doing the prearranged meetings at groups again and if you make it, well great and if you can't, well maybe we'll meet up next time. Like August Max that will be a few minutes at a time & for us will be when we can do the regular lunch schedule & break thing which is not possible on all jobs. Looks like you had a good time from what little we've read so far but really surprised that so few of the angel cats made it! Noticed Arthur & Morgan of the earth cats at the Paw It Forward pool party and noticed Mouser so far as the only angel cat. Knew the angel dogs would make it and glad that Augie's particular Carolina Dog Project group are getting into the spirit of Dogster and better luck next time on fitting his fat heat and backside into swim trunks and a shirt (slapping paws to the ground in happy laughter!) and you know that's in the spirit of fun Augie but what a big head you have my friend! If a python or a boa constrictor could morph its head with a dog's that would be your head Augie! (riotous laughter!) but you're not an unattractive doggy just a bit or more than a bit rebellious and willful and need us to keep you in line so looking forward to seeing you again and meanwhile don't bite any of our people in the butt again as I heard that you did! Well on duty again and this is a short shift so time to say Good Night from me!
