Birthday: June 1st 2004 Arrival Story: Arthur was retired from biomedical research studies in which he was infrequently used for non-toxic drug testing. This is very common, and we have adopted out many dogs who have been used in this way and gone on to wonderful retirements as loving pets! There are no expected side effects to this type of testing. Bio: Arthur was adopted to a family that now has to relocate, so Arthur has come back to CBR-East. He is a great beagle who is cratetrained and housetrained to a schedule. Arthur loves to have a toy in his mouth, and enjoys the company of people very much. Arthur would make a great companion for an older couple, or a single person who will be able to spend time with him. Arthur would be fine as an only dog, and is OK with cats. As with all laboratory retirees, he will need slow and positive exposures to things in the real world. I've Been On Dogster Since:
