If you’re looking for a great place to take your pup for a fun and active day, head over to Big Bear Lake, California. There are many off-leash dog parks in the area, so you and your four-legged friend will enjoy endless hours of adventure. From lush forests to wide open spaces, these parks offer something for every pup.

There is only one dog park in Big Bear, and due to the remoteness of the city, you may have to drive up to a couple of hours to visit other dog parks in the area. Still, with the many trails to explore, plenty of room to run, and multiple furry friends to meet, you and your pup will both have a great time.

1. Bark Park Dog Park

2. Mackay Park Bark Park

  • Across the street from Mackay Recreational Park

  • One of the oldest parks in the area and one of the best

  • Area is kept clean, and owners are respectful of cleaning up after dogs
  • Plenty of parking available

4. Aurantia Dog Park

  • Parking is always available and free for all visitors

7. Hound Town Dog Park
