5 Off-Leash Dog Parks in Sioux Falls, SD (2026 Update)

Share

A city with one dog park for every 50,000 residents is high on our list of pet-friendly places. That’s what you’ll find in lovely Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The city facilities are all well-maintained, making every visit pleasurable. Most have water on-site and complimentary plastic bags. Best of all, most of them are free. The dog parks are often part of larger recreational areas with plenty of other things to do.

It’s worth noting that the parks are closed on the first and third Wednesday mornings from April through October for maintenance. That’s why these facilities are so clean and welcoming. Our list also includes another park outside of Sioux Falls proper. Many business owners realize what a draw allowing dogs is for many patrons. The ones we’ve seen don’t disappoint, either.
