Mr. Moxie was pleasantly surprised when this lovely teal “Perfect Fit” hoodie from a small New England company called Joy Pet Products arrived in the mail at Dogster HQ – just in time for his 2nd birthday, too!
Being an action hound with springs for hind legs, Mox is not a fan of heavy coats that get in the way of a high-speed romp around the dog park, but being an Italian Greyhound with a rather thin coat of his own, he appreciates being warm. So he was quite enamored with the 200 weight Polartec fleece material and his pawrents were impressed with the quality and attention to detail displayed by this product with its ivory embroidery (and the fact that the folks at Joy use a very soft stabilizer on the back of the embroidery so it won’t scratch a dog’s back).
We liked the positive message on its backside too. (See photo below.)
Dog clothes that are more about fashion than purpose make us batty, especially those that get in the way of male dogs doing their business, so the generous room beneath this cute little hoodie was another plus for, ahem, our little leg lifter. But our favorite thing about the Perfect Fit hoodie we received was that it was the “Hoodie Joy – Spread It Around Special Edition,” which means for every one that’s purchased, all profits go to animal charities in need of support. Hooray!
