That’s right, the deadline for all votes to be cast in the Blogger’s Choice Contest is almost here. If you wanted to vote for this blog (big hint, hint and wink, wink) now is the time to get those votes cast! The deadline is June 10th. So if you like what we do here, please consider voting for us.

As you may have noticed, the For Love of Dog Blog has been nominated in two categories, Best Animal Blogger and Best Political Blog. I invite and appreciate your votes in either category but the only one we’re really making a showing in is Best Animal Blogger category where we’re in 9th place (and that’s a way-back 9th place I might add).

I will warn you that voting on this site is a bit of a pain if you haven’t done it before. You have to register with the site and then follow a link back to vote. I just thought I’d warn you since I’ve heard so many complaints from people who have voted or tried to vote but got frustrated.

Here’s how you vote for the For Love of Dog Blog on Blogger’s Choice:

Follow this link to the www.dogster.com page on Blogger’s Choice (they use official urls instead of names). Or you can follow the link at the upper right hand side of this page.

Look for the button in the center of the page that says “Total votes” and has a smalled button on the bottom of it that says “vote.”

Hit “vote” and, if you’re registered, you can vote once for any blog.

If you’re not registered then it will ask you to register, send you a link and ask you to follow it back.
