Sniffer Dogs Patrol For Drugs
The next time you Londoners visit The Fridge in Brixton Hill you might be seeing a few patrons there on four legs, not just two. Okay, they’re not really patrons but they may let one of South London’s biggest clubs stay open. According to the icSouthlondon, sniffer dogs have been proposed as part of the solution to cleaning up drug usage at the Fridge.
Clubbers at a troubled nightspot could be sharing the dance floor with sniffer dogs.
The plan to let the hounds with a nose for illegal drugs patrol the Fridge in Brixton Hill is just one of 29 conditions which cops want to impose on the venue.
The move is revealed in council papers prepared for Lambeth’s licensing sub-committee which will rule on the future of the club, one of South London’s biggest, on Monday.
So the next time you Brits are hanging out at the Fridge and somebody says his date is a dog, take a second look. He might be serious.
