Help Dogs In South Korea

Thanks Elizabeth for barking in AND working to help Korean furbabies! There have been quite a few pictures coming out of Korea of very daring demonstrations against the dog meat trade. I look forward to the day when no one can even remember it ever existed!

Hi! My name is Elizabeth and I just wanted to say how much I enjoy Dogster!

I wanted to bring a matter to your attention. After living in South Korea for 4 years, and adopting my two pups, Gizmo and Cookie in South Korea, I got involved in the animal rights movement there…mainly protesting against the torture of dogs for the meat industry.

I would like to bring a website to your attention. This organization is fighting so hard for animal rights in a country where it is perfectly normal to torture, abuse, and eat man’s best friend. It would be great if you could pass the word along to my fellow dogsters and if they could please sign the petition.

The site is the Korean Animal Protection Society.
