Give a dog a home
I am writing in the desperate hope that someone can provide a home for a beautiful dog named Johnnie.
Across the road from my condo block is another condominium under construction where Johnnie has been squatting for the last two years. Johnnie is very close to an elderly guard named Mr Annamalai, who brings him food every morning when he comes to work.
The problem is Mr Annamalais contract will be expiring soon and new guards will be taking over. As much as he is fond of Johnnie, Mr Annamalai (who named the dog) is unable to take Johnnie with him as he lives in a flat.
We both dread what will happen to Johnnie if he is left here. I feed Johnnie whenever I can. He is a very warm and wonderful dog.
He has a big head and tough body but walks with a slight limp. According to Mr Annamalai, Johnnie used to have a family of four pups, but they were run down by a speeding lorry.
Johnnie escaped with an injured hind leg. Each time I drive past, I will see him sitting faithfully next to his guard friend.
For a dog who has gone through so much, yet has so much love to give, he should get a warm home. Please help save Johnnie by calling 016-253 6669 or 016-666 9378 (Mark).
