Reuters reports that Paul O’Grady’s dog Buster is putting his mark on his name.
Paul O’Grady’s TV dog applies for trademark
LONDON (Reuters) – Chat show host Paul O’Grady’s show-stealing pooch Buster could gain his own range of merchandise after an application was made to register his name as a trademark.
Buster, who has become one of TV’s favourite canines, has with O’Grady’s help applied to secure the exclusive right to use of his full name, Buster Elvis Savage, across a huge range of goods, including clothing, kitchenware and even beer.
The Shih-Tzu, who found fame on former Lily Savage star O’Grady’s Channel Four tea-time show, could feature on a range of products designed for his legion of fans.
The application was lodged with the Trademark Registry on Friday.
