The Dog Food That Feeds Shelter Pets Every Time You Buy a Bag

Whether or not you subscribe to the idea of New Year’s Resolutions, there’s something about a fresh new calendar year that feels like a clean slate, a new start, a catalyst for making a change. For some people, that might be a new commitment to healthy eating, getting fit, or making more time for friends and family, while others might wish to greet 2026 with optimistic benevolence, pledging to give more of their time and money to those less fortunate. But, much like the enthusiasm for “new year, new you” tends to fizzle out by the time January 31st comes along, our commitment to volunteering or donating often dwindles as life gets back to its normal, hectic pace.

Fortunately, there is one way for dog owners to bathe in the warmth of contributing to charitable causes, just by purchasing food for their pet.

CUDDLY Pet Food is a Texas-based company that has revolutionized the idea of supporting animals in need by partnering with animal welfare organizations all over the world to support their rescue and rehabilitation efforts. With every item you purchase from their website, they donate a meal to an animal shelter. Each month, meals are distributed to their 4,000+ shelter, rescue, and food pantry partners across the country, focusing primarily on organizations with the greatest needs.

In 2025, CUDDLY set a goal of 20,000 donated meals, and thanks to their many happy customers, they smashed their target and are already keen to support even more pets in need in 2026.

Thanks to our community, CUDDLY proudly exceeded our 2025 goal of 20,000 give-back meals for shelter pets. In 2026, we’re committed to making an even greater difference by delivering 100,000 donated meals to animals in need!

- Samantha Marmion, CUDDLY

Not only are CUDDLY great at supporting animals in need, but they’re also pretty terrific at making dog food too! Their recipes are based on high-quality ingredients with whole meat protein as the primary ingredient, no unnecessary ‘filler’ ingredients, and a range of options to suit different preferences and needs. Not only that, but the food is also very affordable, with extra savings if you sign up for regular deliveries.

You can help give dogs like Kevin and professor Herbert a reason to smile and trust humans again.

Of course, if you want to be slightly more proactive about supporting animal welfare organizations, you can also check out their Fundraising Page, which is updated daily to highlight particular cases or charities that are most in need of support. You can search for local charities, medical cases, or specific species to direct your donation to where it is most needed, and what you feel most passionate about, like Kevin, the 11-year-old Cocker Spaniel in Georgia who is in desperate need of dental treatment, or Professor Herbert from Mexico, whose list of illnesses and injuries are overwhelming, but his spirit and strength are fighting back.

You can even sign up to the CUDDLY Club with a monthly donation.

What makes CUDDLY quite unique is its transparency. Animal lovers can help save lives by donating directly to an animal or shelter in need, and being able to see how their money is being spent.

So if you’re looking to be more magnanimous in 2026, you can start by simply buying your four-legged family member some high-quality food, knowing that you’re making a real difference.
