WV – Military Deploy means 2 seniors without owner

Contact is Shelly in WV at: 304 -823-2214 Please cross-post!

I got info today from Shelly with Animal Friends of Barbour County, WV, that a man in Barbour County, WV is being deployed ASAP. He has 2 dogs that he’s had since they were babies. One is a Dalmatian, age 10 and a chocolate Lab age 9. He is stressed out over this, but we all know when the military says go, they must go.

What we need ASAP is either a breed rescue to step up or a senior rescue to step up. If needed I can try and help with transport. We can board them at a reduced rate of $5. per dog per day if needed but right about now I don’t have 5 cents and just found out tonight my senior guy’s cancer is back. It’s a waiting game now.

*If anyone can help, please contact Shelly in WV at: 304 – 823-2214.
She has 25 rescues right now, and just cannot take in another, never mind 2.
