The first several seconds of this short ad promoting pet adoption will break your heart. It’s a roadside scene that happens far too frequently. Thank goodness the “narrator” steps in quickly, adding a little humor to really drive the idea of adoption home. Without this touch, it would be depressing.
The ad is part of a campaign by The Shelter Project to get people to look to shelters for pets before they go to breeders and pet stores. The Ad Council did a nice job on this.
