Arrival Story:
My fiance and I had been searching for the perfect dog for a while. One day I was on the internet and seen an ad for a dachshund mix puppy that needed to find a forever home. He was just the cutest thing we had ever seen. I showed Mike the ad and he agreed that we should meet him. I called the lady who posted the ad and set up a time to meet the next day. When we arrived, it was love at first sight. The lady told me that she had seen him in the shelter and decided to adopt him because he only had one more day to live. The lady at the shelter told her that someone had found him on the side of the road when he was about 8wks old. She knew that she would not be able to keep him for long because she already had two large dogs and two kids so her house was pretty much full. We told her that we would love to take him. The rest is history.
