Arrival Story:
after the loss of our 15 year old dog, shannie, last summer we missed dog energy in our house. We found laila through a local animal shelter.

Bio:
Laila is the sweetest thing. She has knack for getting herself sick though. She has been hospitalized twice already; almost drowned once. She forgot to hold her breath when excited at the river one day, and aspirated- filling her lungs with water. Long recovery! She stays leashed near the water ...but she still wants to swim. We are sticking with a baby pool for now.
