With a spectacular closing ceremony, the 2012 Summer Olympics have come to an end. We witnessed lots of amazing athletic achievements as well as some controversies and comedy. This year even saw a couple of canines win the gold for cuteness. Now that the Olympics are over, you may find yourself in a bit of a TV-watching slump. What else is on to get your adrenaline pumping?

Oh, wait -- there's Discovery Channel's Shark Week, seven days of programming to celebrate these terrifying, amazing, and misunderstood creatures of the deep! And you're not the only one who's excited to watch Great Whites.

These five pups can't wait to watch some shark action. They've got their shark costumes on and everything. Quick! Get out of the water -- unless you're ready to die of cuteness.

Look at this human bravely handle this dog-shark. He must be the Shark Whisperer.

The economy is so ruff these days, some dog-sharks have agreed to wear advertising on their fins. The problem is, everyone ditches the water the minute they see it.
