How to Name Your Dog

When you’re naming your dog, there are a few different things you need to keep an eye out for. First, aim for a name with less than three syllables. This makes it easier for your dog to learn their name, which is a huge part of training them.

Next, don’t pick a name that’s a word you commonly use. You want your dog to listen every time you say their name, and if it’s a word you commonly use, they’ll start to tune it out.

Finally, don’t pick a name that you’ll be embarrassed to say in front of other people. Even if you don’t plan on using their name around a ton of people, you never know who you’ll need to address them around, and you don’t want to have an embarrassing name for them!

In Conclusion

Now that you’ve got to review well over a hundred Russian dog names, all that’s left is for you to pick your favorite and name your pup! Once you name your pup, stick with the name and teach it to them through training and positive reinforcement. That way, they can learn it, and you can move on to training them to do different things!
