The interior is lined with a plush sherpa material to provide your pet with a comfortable resting pad.

The one thing I would have liked to see more of with The Pet Carrier is variety. Being only available in two colors—black and “coast” blue—makes the choices a bit limited for pet owners. Though there is the customization option available to embroider up to 3 letters on the carrier in your color of choice, because of the limited options available, The Pet Carrier scored a 2 out of 5 for variety.

Our Experience With Away’s Pet Carrier

So far, Coco and I are thoroughly enjoying The Pet Carrier. Being both an avid traveler and an animal lover, I made the choice to purposely hold off on getting a dog for many years while I was traveling around the world—solo most of the time, as that’s when I felt most free and unrestricted. When I adopted Coco a couple years ago, there was quite a bit of adjustment for me with regard to my traveling. Though she has another car seat already, she now happily chooses The Pet Carrier over it for car rides—with much enthusiasm.
