What’s green and white and brown all over? It’s the scraps of money left over after Augie, a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, got his mouth on it.
Kelley Davis has been working overtime as a physical therapist to earn some extra cash. On Friday she went to make a deposit, but when she checked her pocket the money wasn’t there. She remembered leaving it in the bedroom, wondering if Augie had gotten to it first.
Davis, 42, said when she took Augie for a walk Saturday, she found parts of three $100 bills and five $20s in his leavings. She washed them with a garden hose and hopes to find enough pieces to exchange them for cash.
I guess instead of making a deposit, Davis received a deposit. A professor from NC State University Veterinary College said the money shouldn’t hurt the dog.
