Dogster Photo Contest: Dogs of the Week Winners (November 27, 2025)

Share

This Week’s Winner

Name: Ziggy
Breed: Golden Chihuahua
Fun Fact: “Ziggy isn’t first rescue and though it’s been only 2 months it feels like
longer. I was devastated after losing my first dog suddenly a week before my birthday this year. It took 6 months to even come around to the idea of opening my heart up. He was shy at first and still is growing into his personality. This photo is today and shows how happy he is. Rescues require patience but in my patience he’s taught me the value in slowing down and being open even when he was abandoned. Who saved who? It’s a tie – we both saved each other.”

sniff out low blood sugar. She also is a very loyal and dependable
companion.. Rosie spends her weekends visiting hospitals and retirement centers to cheer people up. However, we spent a lot of time at the nurses station. When she’s home, she sleeps with her bunny and she always has to have a pillow.”

As the self-appointed CEO of the SoCal chapter of S.A.S, the Squirrel Appreciation Society, Blue takes her leadership duties seriously, keeping her backyard & neighborhood under vigilant yet friendly watch.
