Doberman Enthusiasts to Gather for 2026 UDC Nationals Competition in New York

United Doberman Club - National Flyer

Get ready for ten days of high-powered dog sports, jaw-dropping athleticism, and tail-wagging celebration: the United Doberman Club (UDC) is hosting its 2026 UDC Nationals: Prison Break Edition from May 29 – June 7, 2026, at the Hudson Sports Complex in Warwick, New York. This national-level event brings together working-dog enthusiasts, trainers, and handlers across the U.S. and Canada for an unforgettable experience celebrating the Doberman.

More than 100+ competitors and 300+ attendees will gather for a full lineup of competitive events, including IGP (Schutzhund), Conformation, Obedience, Mondioring, French Ring, PSA, WAE, a Doberman Breed Survey, man-trailing, scent work, and bomb detection. Each showcases the breed’s intelligence, versatility, courage, and loyalty—qualities that have made Dobermans beloved in working-dog homes for generations.

This year’s creative theme, “Prison Break,” transforms the Nationals into a theatrical, immersive experience inspired by old-school penitentiaries, escape missions, and hard-earned freedom. Expect bold artwork, gritty styling, immersive staging, and fun social activities that bring this high-energy concept to life—all in good humor, celebrating the strength and resilience of Dobermans and their handlers.

But the event goes far beyond sport. The UDC has partnered with Dogwood Doberman Rescue (501c3) to create impactful community programs, including a discounted health clinic, Rescue Parade honoring adopted Dobermans, and an educational breed seminar promoting responsible ownership, training, and health awareness

This blend of competition, education, and rescue advocacy makes the 2026 Nationals not just a dog-sport event—but a celebration of the Doberman breed and its community.

Vendors, sponsors, trainers, breeders, competitors, and dog-loving families will find something for every interest: shopping, food trucks, giveaways, raffles, and exclusive “Prison Break”-themed merchandise. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or simply a dog enthusiast, everyone is welcome to join the adventure.

The UDC Nationals are an opportunity to witness elite canine performance, meet passionate handlers from around the country, support Doberman rescue efforts, and become part of a community dedicated to preserving and promoting one of the world’s most iconic working breeds.

Mark your calendars for May 29 – June 7, 2026, and break out with us at the UDC Nationals: Prison Break Edition.
