• Memberships are available at less than the cost of entry

2. Freedom Barkway Dog Park

• 2-acre off-leash dog park is one of the biggest in the Atlanta metro area
• 1 mile from downtown Atlanta in the Old 4th Ward
• The park is separated into two sections for small and large dogs
• Waste bags are provided but no water
• There are plenty of benches to sit and relax
• The parking lot and dog park are right next to each other

3. Brookhaven Dog Park

• Relatively small but well-kept dog park that’s fenced-in and has room to run
• Trails nearby, but your dog must be leashed to use them

• Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta
• The park offers a small dog area for dogs under 30 pounds

• Your dogs must be leashed when coming and going into the park

9. Chattapoochee Dog Park

• Located on the banks of the Chattahoochee River in Atlanta
• Sprinkler system for dogs to stay cool on hot days
• Separated into large and small dog sections that are fenced
• Mostly grass and a great area for all dogs to run without fear of paw injuries
• Plenty of shade but a lack of benches for humans to relax
• Water is available, but the fountains are closed from November through March

10. Oakhurst Dog Park

• East of downtown Atlanta
• The park closes from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM on Fridays for cleaning and maintenance

• Only three dogs at a time are allowed to enter the park with one person
