It had gotten abruptly cold once more in Southern California, so some jammies were well called for! My dog Lorelei is rather funny about clothes – she doesn’t initially like wearing clothes, sometimes even protests wearing them, but once she realizes that the clothes are keeping her warm, she begins to enjoy them. So, I needed to find an adorable way to keep her warm and fuzzy.
Our pups can’t talk, so we have to choose styles on their behalf, so a bit of our own bias can certainly creep in there. To put the attention more on me, I’m a big dinosaur nerd. As in, Jurassic Park was on repeat my entire childhood, and my home has little remnants of dinosaurs everywhere! So when I saw the Leveret Dog Pink Dinosaur Pajamas, and they were in the color pink (which is my pup’s color, or so I decided)… I had to have them!

Our Experience
The pajamas came packaged in a small USPS bag, small enough to fit in my mailbox, which is where I found the package. The jammies were neatly folded inside, with a small Leveret catalog included as well. Upon taking the Pink Dinosaur Pajamas out of the bag, I could immediately feel how soft and comfortable they are. The fabric nearly melted in smoothness under my fingers, and the elastic waistband was just as soft as the rest. I loved the adorable dinosaur print and the saturated colors of the jammies (a bit jealous that I didn’t have a pair, actually).
Truth be told, I guessed on the size for my pup – and I guessed right! Putting them on was very easy, I could stick a paw through each leg with ease, and the elastic waistband stretched enough to get those back legs in without fuss. Although my dog stood frozen in shock at first (as mentioned, clothing isn’t always her thing), she quickly warmed up to the pajamas because, well, they kept her warmer!
I loved that she has so much ease of movement with the Pink Dinosaur Pajamas; the open derrière helped free up her back legs, which made moving a lot easier than other dog clothes. Her belly was also exposed. This allowed me to take her to the bathroom without any issues, which I very much appreciated. The neck area wasn’t tight at all either, another big benefit over clothes that I had tried on her in the past!
Washing is easy, as I can throw these jammies into the wash with my own cotton clothes. I always wash on a gentle cold cycle, which helps prevent shrinkage and ensures that the jammies fit my pup for years to come.
I think the Leveret Dog Pink Dinosaur Pajamas are so cute, and an excellent addition to Lorelei’s wardrobe!
