Check out this short yet dependable list of breeders recommended by the Puerto Rico Labrador Retriever Club below.

Dogs of Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico has been in the news recently for its stray dog problem. There are an estimated 500,000 stray dogs wandering the streets of Puerto Rico, with a euthanasia rate between 94 and 96 percent. Laws are being put in place to help the situation, but many are still improperly bred and abused.
If you aren’t having any luck finding a reputable breeder in Puerto Rico with an available litter, you might consider adopting one of the many dogs in need from a shelter. There are many Labrador Retrievers currently waiting to move to their forever homes. Before you adopt a dog, always make sure you have their medical records and take them in for an additional vet checkup once you bring them home.
