Yes, sex toys — you read that right. And, again, we offer our apologies for asking that question. Actually, let’s just issue a blanket apology over this whole post, because we’re heading into pretty choppy waters.

Back to our question, vis-a-vis how many dog toys look like sex toys. It turns out the answer is: more than you can imagine. More than you ever thought possible? More than rightly makes sense. More than is just and true in the world? More than is appropriate. More than one? Oh, yes, more than one.

Sorry.

You see, there is this blog — there is always a blog — that compares sex toys to dog toys. (In support of our “there is always a blog” thesis, just click on Hot Dog Legs.) This blog is called The Dog Snobs. Normally it covers dog stuff. But it has a regular feature on the weekend called “Sex Toy or Dog Toy Saturday,” where they post pictures of dog toys that look like sex toys and vice versa.

Again: A lot of dog toys look like sex toys. Have we mentioned that? (Sorry.)

What is interesting about these comparisons is that, if you’re not current on sex toys, you won’t really suspect some of these as being sex toys at all, unless you have a good imagination for this sort of thing. Most of these pictures are actually SFW, unless your boss and coworkers are, you know, hip to the scene.

Here are a few pictures. We didn’t post them higher up because we figured you’d watch to clear all the cats out of the room. We’re not saying which are the sex toys and which are the dog toys. You’ll have to go to Sex Toy or Dog Toy Saturday for that.
