Hello, for Nickel Plate Beach, I read that dogs are prohibited on the beach between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. However, leashed dogs are welcome before 10:00 AM and after 6:00 PM. Can you please confirm?
Hello there, From what we know, that is correct, but only from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The City of Huron’s official rules prohibit dogs anywhere in Nickel Plate Park and Beach between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM during that seasonal period. Dogs may visit before 10:00 AM and after 6:00 PM, and they should remain leashed. Outside the Memorial Day–Labor Day period, that time-based prohibition does not apply.
