Tresa at the Oregon League of Conservation Voters (OLCV) barked over this announcement. They’re looking for the new face of a watchdog mascot. Does your furbaby have what it takes?
Hi,
I work at OLCV and we are having a contest to find the best face to represent our watchdog work. For over thirty years, we have worked as the independent political voice for Oregon’s environment.I would like to know if you would post our contest on your blog. It is a free contest that we originally opened to our members at the beginning of January. But then we thought why not take it do ALL dog lovers? I have included the text from our own blog below.
Please let me know if you can help us reach out to the dog lovers out there.
Thanks
Here’s the blog post:
OLCV: Pitbull, Poodle, Pomeranian?
For over 30 years, OLCV has been recognized as a strong leader and effective watchdog for the environment. In fact, watchdogging is one of the things we’re best known for. We monitor your elected officials and how they’re voting on the environmental issues so we can keep you informed on the issues you care about.
But we need a great face to represent our great work.
If you know a dog that has what it takes to be the face of OLCV’s watchdog work, then send us their photo.
Email us a photo of your photogenic, four-legged, furry friend with a brief essay of why you think your dog is more than just another pretty face (50 words max).
Email your photo and essay to tresa@olcv.org by January 31.
