Yes, but only in one spot: leashed dogs are allowed on a 1.7-mile stretch of Daytona Beach between Williams Avenue and Seabreeze Boulevard during daylight hours. Can I Take My Dog to Daytona Beach?
Boardwalk
Dogs are allowed on the sand only along the 1.7-mile dog beach between Williams Avenue and Seabreeze Boulevard, on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Elsewhere, you are welcome to walk your dog down the boardwalk as long as you use a leash. There are many great sights along the boardwalk and many small shops to visit. Your pet will get plenty of exercise and enjoy all the excitement.
Select Areas
Along the boardwalk, you may find a few select areas of the beach where you can walk your leashed pet. Fortunately, the beach is much larger than the main area, and there are three other dog beaches along the coast, in Ormond Beach, Ponce Inlet, and New Smyrna Beach, where leashed dogs are welcome. There are also a few dog parks in the Daytona Beach city with activity courses, fountains, and other activities that aren’t available at the beach.
