With growing concerns surrounding the safety of pet food and some countries lacking laws that apply to the regulation of pet food manufacturing, a lot of United States-based pet owners are on the hunt for foods that are manufactured right here in the United States. Taste of the Wild

Taste of the Wild is undoubtedly one of the most popular mainstream dog food brands on the market. The brand is owned and manufactured by Diamond Pet Foods, which was founded in 1970. Diamond has always stated that its goal was to produce high-quality pet foods at a fair value.

The Taste of the Wild brand was founded by Diamond Pet Foods in 2007 when they aimed their focus on high-protein, grain-free diets.  Taste of the Wild offers a variety of high-quality protein sources, fewer fillers, and better-quality ingredients overall.

Made in the USA

Taste of the Wild’s dog foods and cat foods are made in six facilities here in the United States that are owned by Diamond Pet Foods. The locations include Missouri, Arkansas, South Carolina, Kansas, and two in the state of California. Our priority is to source ingredients of quality.

Are Their Supplies Locally or Globally Sourced?

Sometimes companies will manufacture food in the United States but get their supplies from global sources, and Taste of the Wild sources from both local and global suppliers. They do advise they have a strict vetting process for all suppliers and the company prefers to work with fewer suppliers over long-term arrangements as opposed to using many suppliers through a bidding process. This is to ensure that both safety and quality standards can be more closely monitored.
