“SARA seeks by example to illustrate the value of companion animals; and thus the irresponsibility of allowing an unending cycle of reproduction, neglect and abuse of these animals. We have not waivered from our original goal of a true no-kill policy - the animals live out their natural lives regardless of age, temperment or health. SARA is at capacity with at least 200 permanent animals, and triple the amount of adoptable ones. Due to limited funds, we cannot accept any animal unless it is in dire need of rescue. ”

thank you

Living around here can be heartbreaking- there are so many stray animals, and neglected animals, and many humans in these parts just don't care. Ask my brother Philippe: he is the nicest dog, and someone didn't want him. So I am really grateful that my Mum knows and helps these wonderful people at SARA; I have met Tracey and she is a true animal lover, and so are her volunteers. SARA provides a shelter and permanent home for dogs who aren't as lucky as me and my siblings. Please support them! And please consider adopting or sponsoring one of their adorable animals.

SARA

What a truly wonderful sanctuary for animals that were in dire need. Tracy has given 100% of herself to providing and loving each and every one of the animals there. Sanctuary : a place of refuge and protection
